Eligible Orphans

All orphans residing in Jordan, regardless of their religion or nationality are eligible to benefit from the fund’s schemes.

 

Al-Aman Fund targets two different types of orphaned youth:

  1. Boarding Orphans who have resided in Orphan Care Centers for part of, or all their childhood.
  2. Non-Boarding Orphans supported by Orphan Support Organizations who live in poverty with a guardian or an immediate relative.

 

Providing that they meet the following criteria:

Criteria for sponsoring orphans

Boarding beneficiaries

Orphans who have resided in Orphan Care Centers for part of, or all their childhood

  • Unknown parentage or coming from discontinued families (Abandoned)
  • Have lived in one of the orphan care centers, at least for one year
  • Between the ages of 18 and 21 (when applying)
Non-boarding beneficiaries

Non-Boarding Orphans supported by Orphan Support Organizations who live in poverty with a guardian or an immediate relative

  • Have benefited from Orphan Support Organizations, at least for one year
  • Between the ages of 18 and 21 (when applying)
  • Don’t have any financial support for education

Admission requirements for educational scholarships by level:

Bachelor degree:

Acceptance from a public university in the regular program (competitive program)

Diploma:

Acceptance from either private or public colleges

Technical and Vocational Training:

All beneficiaries completed the General Secondary Stage (whether he/she passed or fail) is eligible to benefit from the Fund’s accreted Technical and Vocational Training

Education evaluation and progress:

All beneficiaries who received educational scholarships regardless of the level should maintain a “Good” and above GPA
