01 May Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans Celebrates its 10th Anniversary
On the occasion of Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans 10th anniversary, the Fund will launch a new campaign that aims at featuring the Fund’s achievements in supporting orphans and the local community and thanking the Jordanian community members for their vital role throughout the past 10 years.
The campaign will also highlight the Fund’s role in offering orphaned youth aged 18 and above proper academic and vocational education. This derives from the Fund’s vision of providing orphaned youth with a better future.
On this occasion, Al Aman Fund Executive Director Ibrahim Al Ahmad said “We at Al Aman Fund believe that education is the guaranteed way for orphans to build a bright future. And now, 10 years have passed by and we see successful and self-reliant young adults and this couldn’t have been achieved without the support and contribution of the Fund’s stakeholders and donors.”
This campaign enables Al Aman Fund to increase the diversity of the donations’ base in order to provide orphans with educational scholarships to either universities or vocational training centers. You can donate to the Fund by calling our direct donation number 06-5330500 and our representative will collect your donation at the location, time and payment method convenient to you, or through the Fund’s account at Central Bank of Jordan (IBAN number: JO37CBJO0010000000000131000552) as well as other accounts in several commercial banks in Jordan.
The Fund also makes the donation process more accessible by placing donation boxes at hospitals, retail shops and malls, in addition to our booths in City Mall, Cozmo, Safeway Shmeisani and 7th circle.
It is also worth mentioning that Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah launched Al Aman campaign in 2003 and it was later institutionalized as a non-for-profit charity organization under the name Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans in 2006.
Al Aman Fund has increased its beneficiaries from 100 in 2007 to 2,603 until this day, where the number of beneficiaries in poverty pocket areas reached 695 and the number of graduates reached 1,561.
