Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans Holds a Special Ceremony to Honor the Ministry of Education for Supporting its “Hands of Hope” Campaign

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Prof. Dr. Walid Al Maani, represented by His Excellency Mr. Zaid Abu Zeid, Director of the Activities Department, Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans held a special honoring ceremony for the Ministry of Education, its Directorates and SchoolsThe ceremony aims to honor the directors and officers of the Directorate Liaison departments at the Ministry of Education for their efforts in supporting the programs of Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans, particularly the “Hands of Hope” campaign, which was carried out during the academic years 2017-2019, and for their belief in the importance of educating and supporting orphans over the age of 18, upon their graduation from orphan care centers, as a means for self-realization and perceiving the future with confidence.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Ibrahim Al-Ahmad, General Manager of Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans, expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Education for their support saying: “The main objective behind our campaign is to spread awareness on social responsibility for school students, and the importance of helping orphans with their education so that they can be self-reliant and secure their future.

Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans, an initiative of Queen Rania Foundation for Education and Development, aims to provide orphans over the age of 18 across the Kingdom with a better future through five core programs that equip them with the skills they need to become independent and productive members of society. These programs include: Educational Scholarships, Living Expenses, Guidance & Counseling, Internship & Employment and Medical Insurance.
