12 Jun Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans Organizes its Annual Iftar for its Student Beneficiaries and Employees for the Occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan
On the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan, Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans, one of the initiatives of the Queen Rania Foundation for Education and Development, organized its annual Iftar event as part of the Fund’s ongoing program with the beneficiary students and its employees.
The event included recreational and educational activities for students benefiting from the Fund’s scholarships, aimed at enriching students with the importance of collective cohesion, mutual trust, giving, flexibility in dealing with others, proper compassion and effective cooperation to build healthy relationships. The event also included success stories from some of the Fund’s students.
Mr. Ibrahim Al Ahmad welcomed the students saying: “Our dear students, Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans is here to assist and support you throughout your studies by providing opportunities for higher university education and vocational training, covering your living expenses, in addition to providing you with guidance & counseling programs as well as internship & employment support. We are here together to help you with your journey and provide you with a bright future ahead.
Earlier this month, Al-Aman Fund launched its annual Ramadan campaign titled “Educate Me” with the aim of encouraging the public to contribute toward the education of orphans.
The Fund has made donating easier by allowing donors to call its direct donation number 06-5330500 in order to arrange for a donation pick-up at any location. Donors may also make a deposit into the Fund’s account at any bank in the Kingdom. To further facilitate the donation process, Al-Aman Fund representatives are available at various shopping centers across Amman.
Nearly 3,780 orphans have benefited from Al Aman Fund’s programs, including 2,548 orphans who have successfully graduated and begun their career paths.
