11 Feb Compassionate Society Initiative reassure its Support for Education with Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans
Amman, Feb. 1st 2018 – In light of the resounding success of the personal charity initiative of Mr.Amer Al Khayyat, that granted students from Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans access to 11 undergraduate scholarships and 9specialized vocational training opportunities, Mr. Al Khayyat reassured his commitment to the initiativeby granting the necessary support for the second year in a row, to ensure the continuation of the education of students benefiting from the initiative.
In order to emphasize the continuation of the initiative, Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans invited the beneficiaries of the scholarships to attend a workshop entitled “Positive thinking”, which was held on Wednesday January 31st.
Commenting on the continuation of the initiative and the holding of the workshop, Miss Khitam Al-Qadi, the project manager said: “We are extremely proud to maintain our commitment to this blessed initiative and we are honored by our partnership with Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans, which was founded as an embodiment of The Royal vision of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah, we share the values of the fund to build hope for a better future for these Orphans”.
Miss Al-Qadi added: “Through this renewed commitment we seek to continue developing the potential of our youth, so they may positively contribute the Kingdom’s economic and social development in the future.”
Founded in 2006 by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah, Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans is an independent non-profit organization registered under the Ministry of Social Development. The Fund aims at supporting orphaned youth over the age of 18 as they create a better future for themselves. So far, 3,416 orphans from across the Kingdom have benefitted from Al Aman Fund, with more than 2,322 graduates currently in the workforce.
