All orphans residing in Jordan, regardless of their religion or nationality are eligible to benefit from the Fund’s schemes.
Al-Aman Fund targets two different types of orphaned youth:
- Boarding orphans who have resided in orphan care centers for part of, or all their childhood.
- Non-Boarding orphans who live in poverty with a guardian or immediate relative and are supported by orphan support organizations.
Given that they meet the following criteria:
Criteria for sponsoring orphans
- Orphans who have resided in orphan care centers for part of, or all their childhood
- Orphans with unknown parentage or come from discontinued families (Abandoned)
- Orphans who are between the ages of 18 and 21 when applying to the Fund
Non-boarding beneficiaries
- Non-Boarding orphans who live in poverty with a guardian or immediate relative and are supported by orphan support organizations
- Orphans who have benefited from orphan support organizations for at least one year
- Orphans who are between the ages of 18 and 21 when applying to the Fund
- Orphans who don’t have any financial support for education and are from poverty pocket areas
Admission Requirements for Educational Scholarships by Level::
Acceptance from a public university in the regular program (competitive program)
Acceptance from either private or public college
Technical and Vocational Training:
All beneficiaries who have completed the general secondary stage (whether he/she passed or failed) are eligible to benefit from the Fund’s accredited Technical and Vocational Training
Education Evaluation and Progress:
All beneficiaries who received educational scholarships regardless of the level are required to maintain a GPA of “Good” and above”
