Her Majesty Queen Rania on Monday October 22, 2018 met with new recipients of the Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans’ educational scholarships programme during an orientation session held at the Bisharat Golf Club in Amman, according to a statement by Her Majesty’s office.
Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah said that the growing achievements of the Al Aman Fund reflect the confidence its donors have in its noble goals, and the essential services it provides to orphans after they leave state-run orphanages.
Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, accompanied by Her Royal Highness Princess Iman bint Abdullah, visited the Al Hussein Social Foundation for Orphans on Monday, breaking the fast in the company of orphaned children and their caretakers.

Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah chaired today the annual meeting of the Board of Trustees of Al Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans. The meeting included presentations by the fund Director, Maha Al Saqqa, about the fund’s strategies and goals, including increasing the number of vocational training beneficiaries from 12% to 20%, as well as improving cohesion with labor market requirements.
