Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans Signs an MOU with Talabat Jordan

Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans (AAF), a Queen Rania Foundation for Education and Development initiative, recently announced the signing of an agreement of cooperation and mutual understanding (MOU) with Talabat, the largest online food ordering platform in the region, signed by Noor Homoud, General Manager of Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans, and General Manager of Talabat Jordan, Hala Siraj, whereby Talabat Jordan establishes a dedicated service on its platform to support the various donation campaigns of Al Aman Fund.

The agreement comes in line with AAF’s strategy in terms of involving all segments of society in contributing to the provision of high-level education for youth benefiting from the Fund’s programs and equipping them with the personal, practical and professional skills necessary to enter the labor market and ensure a better future for them, in addition to qualifying them to be productive self-reliant individuals and enabling them to create a positive impact in their communities.

In line with the vision and mission AAF, Homoud, emphasized the significance of the partnership in providing a better future for orphans, expressing her hope that the community, in its various sectors and forms, will look to support AAF’s beneficiaries, given the importance of supporting orphans after reaching the age of 18 and leaving their care homes to embark on their academic journey and professional life. Homoud also stressed on the importance of cooperating with the private sector and civil society organizations in order to provide the necessary support for AAF’s beneficiaries, in addition to using their experience to enrich the knowledge of the beneficiaries, especially with regard to future jobs and the skills needed to compete in the job market.

On her behalf, Siraj expressed her content with signing the agreement, saying: “We at Talabat are always committed to giving to our communities based on the community participation policy that we follow, and are fully committed to providing all kinds of support, and by all possible means. Our provision of innovative, creative and practical solutions to improve the efficiency of the donation process and make it smoother and easier, is one of the main pillars of our strategy to create successful partnerships with non-governmental organizations working in the humanitarian fields, and consumers alike.
